Normal Nutrition?
Many people have a common question: "What is normal eating?" The short answer to that question is that there is no such thing as "normal" eating because every person is unique and has their own genetics, food preferences, medical needs and relationship with food. However, there are some guidelines for general healthful nutrition General healthful nutrition is eating in a way that is consistent and sustainable. Normal eating means feeling hungry before eating and feeling satisfied after eating. Overeating and undereating are also a part of nutrition at times, but not always. General healthful eating is choosing foods that support our long-term physical, mental, spiritual and emotional health. General healthful eating is understanding and being at peace with the fact that some days we will eat more and some days we will eat less, which is okay! We are humans, not robots, so our eating and nutrition change daily.
