Primary Care
The Medical Team consisting of a Medical Director whom is Board certified in Pediatrics and Internal Medicine, a second physician, Advance Practice Clinicians including Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Patient Care Assistants, Medical Assistants and Medical Secretaries, provide general health care services including, but not limited to:
- Wellness exams throughout one’s life span
- Primary care for ages: newborn to elder
- Sports physicals
- Medical management and treatment of acute and chronic conditions: diabetes, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, high blood pressure, etc.
- Medication review and management
- Immunizations, flu vaccines
- Simple biopsies
- Joint injections
- Referrals to specialty care and preventive screen
- Blood draw site for lab test
- Department of Transportation physicals
- Point of care lab testing
- Strep throat, pregnancy, glucose, A1C, cholesterol, HIV, etc.
Urgent Care Visits
Provides care for simple lacerations, minor burns, minor sprains, splinting and immobilization.
These services are open to all federally recognized Tribal Members and descendants, adopted, foster, step and legal ward children of a federally recognized Tribal Member, mothers of unborn American Indian/Alaskan Native children, spouses of all federally recognized Tribal Members and NHBP employees.
