June is Men’s Health Month. Did you know that heart disease affects about 1 in 6 men? For this reason, it is essential to pay attention to a heart-healthy diet. Small changes make big differences, so adopting one heart-healthy change at a time can be helpful.
For example, switching out butter for olive oil or adding a 15-minute walk around the neighborhood a couple of times per week can substantially improve heart health. Often, it can seem overwhelming when people think of changing to a heart-healthy diet, so reframing the switch to small habits over time can allow for lasting changes!
